ANNOUNCEMENT ON ERASMUS+ STUDENT MOBILITY SELECTION RESULTS
Project No: 2025-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000326677

The selection results for students who will participate in study and traineeship mobility abroad within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme have been announced. The published results represent the official evaluation outcomes of the Erasmus+ mobility selection process.

Students listed as “Main List” (Asil) are nominated candidates entitled to receive Erasmus+ grants during their mobility period.

Within the framework of Erasmus+ Study Mobility, students who are awarded a grant are eligible to receive funding for one semester only (maximum 5 months). With the approval of both the host institution and our university, students may extend their mobility for a second semester as a zero-grant (non-funded) participant.

Within the framework of Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility, students who are awarded a grant are eligible to receive funding for a minimum of 2 months. Students may continue their traineeship beyond this period as zero-grant (non-funded) participants, if they wish.

Erasmus+ Study and Traineeship Mobility can be carried out for a maximum of 12 months per study cycle (associate or bachelor’s degree). The total duration of mobility (study + traineeship) within the same cycle cannot exceed 12 months.

Students included in the successful list but not awarded a grant may still participate in the programme as zero-grant participants.

Important: Students who have successfully passed the Erasmus+ English exam and are eligible for traineeship mobility must submit an official Letter of Acceptance from their host institution within 2 months (60 days) following the announcement of the exam results. Failure to submit the acceptance letter within the specified period may result in the transfer of the “Main List” status to a student on the reserve list.

Students who wish to withdraw from their mobility must submit a signed withdrawal petition to the International Office no later than 08 May 2025, 16:00. Students who withdraw after this deadline will be considered as having benefited from the mobility and will receive a -10 point deduction in future Erasmus+ applications.

Students who wish to appeal the evaluation results must submit a signed petition via email to erasmus@galata.edu.tr by 08 May 2025, 16:00. Appeals submitted after this deadline will not be considered.

An information meeting will be organized for students who have been selected for mobility. Detailed information regarding the programme, required procedures, and document preparation will be provided. The date and time of the meeting will be communicated via your university email address.

If nominated students are not accepted by their preferred host institutions, due to reasons such as quota limitations or missed application deadlines, they will be asked to select an alternative partner university within their department’s agreements. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their application.
