Dear Students, Welcome to the Istanbul Galata University Department of Business Administration! 

The main aim of the Department of Business Administration is to train the successful leaders, entrepreneurs and managers of the future by providing in-depth knowledge in core business disciplines such as finance, marketing, human resources, behavioral sciences, accounting and production management.

The skills that stand out in today's business life are changing and developing faster than ever. In this direction, while the level of technical and specialized knowledge necessary for you to be successful in your working life when you graduate – your "hard skills" – is taught to you in line with the core business disciplines, importance is also attached to the development of your social skills (soft skills) in interpersonal relationships, such as analytical thinking, problem solving, communication, teamwork and leadership.

The importance of social skills is increasingly growing in today's working life. Being a good communicator, demonstrating effective leadership, being inclined to teamwork and having problem-solving skills will help you make a difference in the business world and advance rapidly in your career. 

 As the Department of Business Administration, we have meticulously prepared our program so that you develop both your technical skills (hard skills) and your social skills (soft skills) and gain competencies in this area. For this reason, in our curriculum, in addition to your technical skills, we attach special importance to the development of your social skills, and we aim to reinforce these skills with various applied projects, group work and seminars. In addition, we support our education with various elective courses and applied projects that will help you understand the dynamics of the global business environment.
