About

The Logistics Management Department offers an interdisciplinary education that focuses on the effective, efficient and sustainable planning, implementation and control of the flow of materials, services and information in all processes from the procurement of raw materials to the delivery of the product to the final consumer. In line with the globalizing economic structure and digitalizing supply chains, the strategic importance of logistics increases day by day; this brings with it the need for qualified human resources who can think analytically and use technology effectively in the sector. The department curriculum is structured to cover supply chain management, transportation systems, warehousing and inventory management, customs and foreign trade legislation, logistics information systems, and green and sustainable logistics applications.

The program aims not only to provide students with operational competencies, but also to develop their skills in strategic planning, decision-making, leadership and creating competitive advantage. Thanks to applied courses, projects carried out in cooperation with the sector and current logistics applications, students find the opportunity to integrate their theoretical knowledge with practice. Graduates are prepared for working life as professionals equipped to take on positions in planning, operations, management and auditing at national and international logistics businesses, foreign trade firms, manufacturing and distribution companies, and organizations providing transportation and cargo services.
