Head of Department's Message

As the Head of the Communication and Design Department, I am very pleased to introduce you to a world where creativity meets communication and where design combines thoughts with reality. Our department is a dynamic community of researchers, thinkers, designers and innovators dedicated to shaping the future of communication and design in a constantly changing world. 

As the Communication and Design Department, we adopt an approach that integrates the rich theories, methods and phenomena of art and the humanities with the practical insights of the digital age. We encourage the effective and principled mastery of real-world communication strategies and techniques. 

The Communication and Design Department curriculum is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of design methodologies and communication principles. Through our innovative academic programs, technological educational environments, laboratories and dynamic academic staff, we aim to train not only competent graduates but also visionary leaders and productive individuals. 

The Communication and Design Department adopts an approach in which theoretical knowledge meets practical application and students are encouraged to highlight their unique perspectives and ideas. In this context, our students are prepared to make meaningful contributions in various industries, from understanding the subtleties of visual communication to mastering digital storytelling.  As academics and practitioners, we enable our students to question the intersections of culture, technology and ethics through the lens of communication and design.
