Head of Department's Message

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design aims to train contemporary interior architects who can plan and design creative and livable spaces. While providing its students with professional knowledge and skills, our department offers an education model that blends theoretical courses based on art and design theories with design and building studios that develop technical knowledge and skills.

Our program, by combining theory with practice, provides comprehensive education in a wide field ranging from digital technologies to aesthetic approaches. We adopt a holistic approach that aims to train interior architects who are masters of the digital visualization techniques of the 21st century, who can develop innovative design strategies with social and ecological awareness, and who can bring these strategies to life.

It is among our most important goals for our graduates to be individuals who have the skills of scientific thinking, producing analytical solutions and contributing to society and culture, who can follow international innovations and who are open to continuous development. The discipline of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is a field shaped not only by its architectural and artistic aspects but also within the framework of philosophy and sociology.
